Kelly Smith, MSW, LCSW, LISW-CP, LCASA
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Kelly Lachelle Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, psychotherapist, and CEO of A Place 4 Me. With over 22 years of experience in the mental health field, she earned her degree from the University of South Carolina and is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Throughout her career, Kelly has provided compassionate, high-quality care to individuals and families across diverse settings, building a reputation for clinical excellence. Kelly is deeply committed to evidence-based treatment and achieving meaningful, lasting outcomes for her clients. As a leader, she is passionate about developing and guiding her staff to deliver exceptional care, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and results. Her mission is to ensure that every client receives effective, personalized support that promotes healing, stability, and long-term success.
Trelonnie Owens, LCASA
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Trelonnie Dewel Owens is the Chief Operating Officer of A Place 4 Me and brings more than 10 years of experience in the mental-health field. He earned a degree in Speech Communications from Wake Forest University, where he also played basketball, and later earned a master's degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Trelonnie is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-informed addiction support. His approach centers on helping people move toward healing, growth, and recovery.
