Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Kelly Lachelle Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, psychotherapist, and CEO of A Place 4 Me. With over 22 years of experience in the mental health field, she earned her degree from the University of South Carolina and is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Throughout her career, Kelly has provided compassionate, high-quality care to individuals and families across diverse settings, building a reputation for clinical excellence. Kelly is deeply committed to evidence-based treatment and achieving meaningful, lasting outcomes for her clients. As a leader, she is passionate about developing and guiding her staff to deliver exceptional care, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and results. Her mission is to ensure that every client receives effective, personalized support that promotes healing, stability, and long-term success.
Trelonnie Owens, LCASA
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Trelonnie is an experienced mental health professional with a strong academic background and more than 10 years of practical experience. After graduating from Wake Forest University with a degree in Speech Communications, he earned a Master's degree in Addiction Counseling at Grand Canyon University. He is a compassionate counselor committed to helping individuals struggling with addiction pursue healing, growth, and recovery through evidence-based approaches.
